2026 Scholarship Application
Dear Scholarship Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in the Durand Stephens Foundation Scholarship Program. To apply for the one-time $5000 scholarship, please fill out the following questionnaire and record yourself answering the following three questions on video:
- Academic & Personal Achievements
Describe your academic performance and personal accomplishments, including GPA, coursework (AP/IB if applicable), honors or awards, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, volunteer service, and other notable achievements. - Personal Story, Values & Aspirations
Share your personal story, including experiences that have shaped your values—such as the role of family in your life—along with your career aspirations and future goals. Explain what motivates you and how this scholarship will support your educational and professional journey. - Financial Need & Personal Statement
Explain your financial need and current circumstances. In addition, provide a personal statement that highlights your unique qualities, experiences, and perspectives, helping the scholarship committee understand who you are beyond academics and activities.

- Be Yourself: Speak from the heart and let your personality shine through.
- Keep it Concise: We recommend a video length of 3 to 5 minutes.
- Focus on Impact: Tell us how this scholarship will help you serve others or reach a specific milestone.
- Quality Matters (Simply): Ensure you are in a quiet, well-lit area so we can hear and see you clearly.
Your responses will help us assess your eligibility based on our mission to support minority teens who show exceptional character, commitment, and a dedication to their education.
